Proof that tv influences what our kids play. We watch Dirty Jobs. I walked outside this afternoon to find Kenneth putting his goggles on and stating, "It's a dirty job" as he crawled into the trashcan with a scrub brush. Now the neighbors know just how nuts we really are.... 

It's finally here! The first day of school! With new clothes, new shoes and new supplies, our little campers are off to another exciting year! Kaleb? He's ready to sit back and enjoy his final year at home. It's Blue's Clues and Dora The Explorer ftw!
Dad stayed home the first day and got everyone off to a good start. Me? I went to Baytown to visit the doctor and old high school friends.
 

Kathyn's 9th Birthday! 

What have we been doing this summer? Sleeping (that's Kaleb, sleeping in his dog hat, hugging his 4 other stuffed puppies), going to birthday parties (that's Kathryn, NOT impressed with the Lil Diva's party) and exercising! (Kenneth is riding my exercise bike while he watches a movie!). Yup, that sums it up.

More Slip N Slide fun! 

Wow! It's the 2006 Target Clearance Velez Water Fun End of Summer Splashdown! Ok, so I made that up. At the end of the summer, I buy the 75% clearance goodies at Target. This includes Slip n Slides, inflatable pools and various pool toys. The neighborhood pool closes in August and we still have up to 3 more months of warm weather! Featured today is our Nemo Slip n Slide, $2. 44. I love a deal! I'll post the $7.24 pool pics this week. It's a big hit!
